I’m a digital and social media specialist (I won’t say “expert”) for Weber Shandwick, a global PR agency. Most of the work I do now is for an account with the Army. I started my career as a journalist in 2005 — first as a military affairs reporter and then as new media editor for The Herald newspaper in Everett, Wash. I also started an online community for Navy and Coast Guard families in the Puget Sound area called Northwest Navy News.
